People Camp is a week-long transformative experience of cooperation, community living, peacemaking, and the exploration of ideas and issues. This is a summer camp experience for the whole family and for anyone interested in a supportive community, challenging workshops, and lots of recreation in a camp setting. Summer camp program is held in August for one week. The camp program includes:- Camp traditions and building community such as morning meditation down by the lake, talent show, tie dying shirts, s'mores, games, and other activities- Engaging activities for children and youth- Housing at Northern Pines with rooms that sleep 3 - 10 people. Tenting is allowed at the camp.- Interest groups at camp such as book clubs, singing groups, and more- Meals for breakfast, lunch, and supper served at the dining hall with outdoor seating

The Energy Assistance Program helps pay heat and electricity costs. Payments for energy bills are sent directly to the household's energy company or fuel provider for propane, fuel oil, or wood. Financial assistance varies depending on household income and fuel costs. The Energy Assistance Program provides additional grants for eligible households who need help with: - Getting reconnected to heat and power after disconnections- Paying for emergency fuel deliveries of propane, heating oil, or biofuel- Preventing disconnection- Providing emergency heating system repair or replacement for homeowners- Weatherization services to both homeowners and renters to reduce home energy consumption and costs for eligible households by improving the energy efficiency in homes

Provides non-emergency medical transportation, working with the client's health insurance to cover costs. Transportation services are provided to therapy appointments, medical appointments, hospitals, nursing homes, adult day centers, and schools.Referrals to other alternative ride options within network providers are available.

Family week scheduled during treatment phase. Family involvement encouraged.- Three month aftercare program for graduates of program and their families

Statewide MFIP has a 60-month limit, there are some limited exceptions and extension to the time limit. Participants are required to follow certain work rules. Failure to meet work rules will result in their MFIP grants being sanctioned or reduced. In addition:- Child support will be pursued in those situations where one or both parents are absent- A women expecting a baby may receive assistance for herself during her pregnancy- Children who are being cared for by certain relatives may receive assistanceNOTE: MFIP recipients may be eligible for Emergency Assistance, Child Care Assistance, Medical Assistance, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Offers a blend of individual and group therapy, nutritional guidance, and psychiatric care tailored to support adolescents and adults in their recovery from eating disorders.Outpatient treatment: Provides one on one appointments with therapists and registered dietitians. Primary care clinician and psychiatrist sessions are available to patients when needed, and group sessions may be recommended to supplement treatment.Intensive outpatient treatment: Provides intensive treatment program spanning four to six weeks, including twice weekly three-hour group sessions focused on developing coping skills and psychotherapy. Supported meals by dietitians are provided to participants on group session days. In addition to group programming, patients continue to have individual appointments with their therapist, registered dietitian, and primary care clinician.

The Housing Choice Voucher Program (also known as Section 8) utilizes the existing private rental market in Dakota County to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing opportunities for low-income families, elderly, handicapped and disabled persons at an affordable cost. The CDA administers this federal program for all of Dakota County except South Saint Paul (the South St. Paul HRA administers the program for that city).Program participants choose a rental unit from the private rental market and the property owner must be willing to accept voucher-assisted tenants. All assisted rental units must pass an annual inspection based on federally established Housing Quality Standards.
