Provides tips on protecting air, land and water in Hennepin County through social media and newsletters, includes the following topics: - Aquatic invasive species prevention education - The Cool County Initiative reduces greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency and the generation of renewable energy - Earth-friendly home landscaping Quick Reference Guide - Education to protect land and water resources - Educational tips for residents to improve lakes, rivers and streams - Information on funding or assistance for environmental projects for residents, land owners and businesses for projects that preserve and restore the county's natural resources - Landowner Guide to help landowners care for their land and the natural resource on their property - Manages and maintains a waste-to-energy facility - Provides natural resources maps, data and reports - Provides land and water conservation services
