Provides outreach services and support to families of young children and the adults that care for them, including licensed family child care providers, child care centers, and family friend and neighbor caregivers. Programs include: - Car seat education, distribution, and installation for families with qualifying insurance. Car seat education classes are also provided in Somali and can be translated into other languages as needed. - Connecting to a childcare liaison to assist families with the process of securing child care that meets the family's needs, including county and enrollment forms - Resources, support, and training to family friends and neighbors who are unlicensed caregivers to improve the quality of care provided to children - Shared Services Alliances: Designed to work in partnership with Early Child Care programs to offer the services needed to improve long-term financial strength and manage capacity, along with the ability to provide care and services.
