Provides fresh and healthy foods to low income residents of the East Side of St. Paul. Utilizes a client choice model, participants shop for their specific needs while satisfying individual, family, and cultural preferences. Program provides both mobile food shelves and multicultural produce distributions. Eligible participants may use the food shelf once every calendar month.

Provides a food market to those in need. Shoppers must bring their own bag to shop at the market and can check out up to 15 pounds of food daily. Donations of food and money are accepted.

Provides emergency food boxes to anyone in need. May visit the food shelf one time per week, as the food shelf is meant to be supplemental to the individuals' food needs. Accepts non-perishable food donations anytime in the storage benches in front of the building. Perishables may be dropped off during open hours. For large quantities, call to arrange delivery. Also accepts donations of clothing, household items, and entertainment, with proceeds from Thrift on Front supporting the Food Pantry. Quantity is dependent on donations coming in, but typically each person receives a box of food items.

Hygiene: Hygiene kits are typically available. Showers are available for people who are unhoused during specific hours. Transportation: Must be able to verify that the client has a permanent job for which they have not received their first paycheck or a medical appointment. Clients should bring a letter (on company letterhead) stating when they started working and when they will get their first paycheck. Transportation is limited to once a year. Case-by-case exceptions may be made depending on the transportation need. Employment services: job leads, resume assistance, job search techniques instruction Seasonal services: Family Camp, coats for kids, holiday programs for Easter and Thanksgiving, and emergency disaster services. Referrals to rental assistance (funding is limited), car repair services, and budget counseling.
