Cremation or Burial Assistance Program - Wright County Human Services

Cremation/Burial Assistance is available for Wright County residents who die without assets and do not have family members who are able to pay for cremation/burial expenses. This program does not help subsidize a planned funeral or defray costs from a funeral. If the application is approved, the county will pay for a basic cremation service or burial service if the deceased was opposed to a cremation. The funeral home chosen can answer questions on their procedures for county paid cremations/burials.
