Provides housing assistance for eligible individuals, including homeless and near-homeless people, through a variety of programs: Emergency Shelter Clearinghouse: Offers emergency shelter placement, eviction-prevention assistance, and information on community housing resources and referrals. Individuals seeking temporary care for their pets must already be enrolled in a Dakota County Supportive Housing Unit program to be evaluated for pet sheltering by referral. Housing Related Coordinated Entry: Provides intake and housing assessments for single adults and families who are homeless or at risk of losing their housing. HUD Transitional Housing and Supportive Housing Program: Offers advocacy and case management for eligible homeless families with minor children and pregnant individuals.
