- Emergency Food Assistance: Individuals experiencing homelessness can receive food once a week. Other individuals may receive food once every 30 days. The amount provided is based on family size, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis. Clients have the option to choose the food items they prefer. - Hygiene Products: Offers hygiene products to individuals in need. - NAPS Distribution: Partners with local organizations to distribute nutritious and affordable produce to the community. - SACA Delivers: Provides monthly deliveries of groceries to homebound older adults (ages 55+) and individuals with documented disabilities. Each delivery includes non-perishable items, dairy, eggs, butter, and frozen meat. The service also includes safety checks to ensure the well-being of recipients.

Food distribution. Delivers to Elders are made to Vermilion and Nett Lake on a monthly basis. Program eligibility is based on income guidelines and deductions.

Emergency food shelf primarily serving residents of Chanhassen and Eden Prairie, but food access is open to anyone for whom PROP is the most convenient location: - Up to two food service appointments per month - Appointment options include in-person shopping in the Food Mart or curbside service - Offers limited delivery for seniors or those with mobility issues residing in service area - Food donations accepted; see website for donation hours and most needed items

A box or bag of groceries is provided on a limited basis for people who are unable to provide food for themselves or their families

- Full food assistance may be received up to 12 times per year with at least one week between visits - Partial food assistance is available to clients once per week (Monday - Friday); items mostly include perishables and a more limited meat selection - Walk-in orders will be filled the following business day - Anything beyond the standard food order including baby items, juice, laundry detergent, dish soap, baking supplies, soy milk, powdered milk, personal care items, etc. may or may not be available - ECHO will offer delivery of food supplies to those people who call if they need the service - No-shows (no call two days prior to cancel pickup) count as one of the 12 visits allowed per year - Accepts food donations to support its services and contribute to community-based food distribution efforts.

Errands and shopping assistance - Volunteers will run local errands like picking up prescriptions or getting groceries for homebound seniors ensuring that they have the needed supplies to maintain their health and continue functioning independently at home Friendly visits - Volunteers provide social interaction for those who live alone or who would benefit from additional support and companionship Handyworker and yardwork assistance - Volunteers provide assistance with minor home repairs and maintenance (recipients are expected to pay for needed materials), outdoor chores such as garden projects, yard work, cleaning out gutters or snow removal Housekeeping and chore service - Volunteers provide assistance with routine cleaning and/or other occasional deep cleaning around the home to help ensure that seniors have a clean and safe environment which helps reduce safety risks that would be present if the senior attempted to do these chores on their own Resource and referral - Provides resources and referrals for any number of services that are not provided directly by agency Respite care - Volunteers provide the primary caregiver a temporary reprieve from their caregiving responsibilities and provide companionship and support to the senior receiving care. Faith In Action volunteers are not able to help with personal care such as toileting/bathing or assist with transfers or provide medical services such as administering medication or changing dressings. Transportation - Volunteer Drivers transport and escort participants to medical and non medical appointments helping increase mobility for seniors who are unable to drive or providing a safe alternative for those who still have a vehicle and license. Mileage reimbursement is available to all volunteer drivers.

Provides the following support services: - Caregiver Consulting: Professional assistance providing information, assessment, education, coordination, and training for caregivers and care receivers - Caregiver Relief: Coordinates volunteer help for the person who cares for a chronically ill home-bound loved one. Allows the caregiver time to attend to other tasks and provides contact for the home-bound person - Caregiver Support Group: Helps spouses and family members with changes in the family unit; once a month in both Ely and Babbitt - Friendly Visits: Volunteer visits for area residents who might be homebound or just alone and want or need contact with the greater community - Grocery Delivery: Available for those who find it difficult or unsafe to navigate local grocery stores. Volunteers will deliver groceries to the home - Northwoods Memory Care Program: Guides clients and their families through Alzheimer's by helping to reduce stress and increasing family support - Tasty Tuesday: Provides a class to older adults at no cost at the Ely senior center. The class provides healthy recipes, food preparation, and more. Availability is limited. - Volunteer Rides: Coordinates rides that are not available through other services for local and long distance medical appointments, meetings, errands, and social events.

Families and individuals can pick up food as needed.

Weekend bags provide additional food for school-age children receiving free or reduced lunches but still struggle with hunger on weekends. Each bag includes healthy food options for kids such as canned fruit and vegetable; juice box; spaghetti and spaghetti sauce; potential extras like granola bars and fruit cups. 1 bag is available for every 2 children. 1 bag is available per month. Goal is to help compensate for kids who aren't getting school lunch during the summer.

Shopping is done in the in-person choice model or via a pre-packaged non-choice selection provided through the Market drive-thru option. Food can be accessed once a month per household. Emergency bags are also available. - Market Express is an express drive-thru food pick-up on specific dates throughout the month. Food package includes 3-4 day supply including meat, dairy, produce, and dry goods (contents may vary). Provides and delivers short-term food assistance and essential supplies to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity or temporary hardship. Coordinates the purchase and distribution of groceries and basic necessities through trusted vendors and community partners, prioritizing dignity, privacy, and access. Support is provided on a needs basis as resources allow, and the program also connects individuals to additional community resources and educational material when appropriate.

Grocery shopping at 4 Super One locations delivered to area senior citizens. Call in order, groceries shopped and delivered to client's door. Deliver almost all products carried by the store, including birthday cakes, greeting cards, store gift cards (up to $50 value), grocery bags, phone cards, deli and bakery pickups, and stamps. No alcohol and/or tobacco products.
