Housing Specialists can assist households with practical solutions, identify sources, alternatives, resolve immediate barriers to housing, and mediate conflict resolution between landlords, friends, or family.The initial access point to be connected with a Housing Specialist is short-term with a 30-day timeframe. After 30 days initial contact, households with no other pathways identified will be connected to a Housing Assessor and placed on the Housing Registry.- Street Outreach: Provides support to individuals who are experiencing homelessness and living outsideNOTE: People seeking temporary care for their pets must already be enrolled in a housing support program through Washington County's Homeless Outreach Services Team to see if their pet can be sheltered by referral.
