Prepares participants by providing the tools to develop hard and soft skills, reach career goals, and obtain proper certifications and licenses. Career training coaches are available to assist every step of the way by preparing participants for college-level classes, connecting them to employers, and helping to build professional skills and networks. Offers the following services:- Class A Commercial Driver's License Program: Helps participants earn a CDL for free by providing a training coach. Provides an immersive and hands-on training program held at the Interstate Truck Driving School.- Four Cornerstones of Financial Wellness: Provides classes that help participants increase financial management skills and learn to navigate financial systems. Classes include: budgeting to create savings, asset building and debt reduction, building a good credit report, and consumer protection and financial institutions.- Healthcare Career Pathways: Helps participants build skills, reach career goals, and obtain proper certifications and licenses. Provides a training coach that prepares participants for college-level classes, connections to employers, and builds professional skills and networks. Courses offered include English for Industry, Nursing Assistant, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, and Nursing Assistant Refresher.- Re-Entry Services: Provides adults recently paroled or released an opportunity to gain proper credentials in trainings such as Class A Commercial Driver's License. In addition to job training and career planning, participants will have access to transportation assistance and financial coaching.- Welding and CNC Machining: Offers participants that have completed Manufacturing Foundations, the opportunity to pursue advanced manufacturing programs at Hennepin Technical College that includes 7 - 10 month certificates in Gas Metal Arc Welding or CNC Machining. Program also prepares participants an opportunity to continue their education and earn an associate's degree in a skilled trade.

Provides a daily drop-in and resource center serving those experiencing homelessness and those at-risk of homelessness. Provides access to basic needs such as:?- Clothing- Food (shelf stable foods)- Hygiene supplies- Phone and computer access- Referrals to organizations such as Southern Minnesota Legal Services (SMRLS), state and county housing programs, and Coordinated Entry assessments- Respite room and lounge space- Tents

Head Start program serves preschool-age children ages 3 - 5. Offers children and families developmental support and education in multiple domains of learning, health, dental health, education, and nutrition support. Services provided:- Classroom center-based setting. Programs are half or full day, depending on location and availability.- Early learning and development- Family partnership and well-being

Administers the Clean Indoor Air Act for the state of Minnesota, which regulates smoking in public places and work places. Provides information about mold, finding it in a home, cleaning up and why it's a health issue. Also gives information on finding radon and where to buy radon testing kits.

Helps people without children who can't work enough to support themselves, and whose income and resources are very low, to pay for basic needs. The maximum monthly benefit is:- $128 for a person living in a licensed residential facility or receiving substance use disorder treatment services- $350 for a person living in the community- Emergency funds may be available if the individual cannot pay for basic needs, such as shelter or food, and their health or safety is at risk because of thisPeople who get GA are also eligible for help with medical and food costs through Medical Assistance - MA and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - SNAP.

Participants explore lifelong skills, boost confidence, and strengthen social capabilities while actively integrating into their community. Programs are in the community two to five days a week.

Zoning responds to inquiries about issues such as property issues, signage, and other zoning concerns.
