Provides general information on child care assistance programs to help families pay for child care for children up to age 12 and for children with special needs up to age 14. Child care costs may be paid for families while parents work, look for work, or attend school.

Including individuals who use a hoyer lift- Onsite chef and can accommodate many special needs diets- Part-time licensed Social Worker?

Provides skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services as part of the Auburn Homes and Services continuum of care. Offers a team of compassionate and trained nurses and aides care for residents to assist them in daily activities. Services include:- 24-hour nursing staff- Certified nurse practitioner and physician visits- Discharge planning- Hospice and end-of-life care- Life enhancement activities- Outpatient rehabilitation services- Physical, occupational, and speech therapies- Short-term rehabilitation- Specialized dietary needs - Teaching and training for patients and families

Aging Mastery Program (AMP): Through the National Council on Aging; 8 weeks in study;each week is a different topic (financial, physical, mental health, etc.);review books and video materials in-person; aims to help older adults take key steps to improve their wellbeing, add stability to their lives, and strengthen their ties to communities; professionals visit as speakers to assist with sessions.Dementia Friends-sessions: Provides to community members of all ages. Healthcare specific educational session is available, as well as adaptations for particular workplaces, known as Dementia Friendly in the Workplace. These are one-day sessions that last from 60-80 minutes. Educational session available to community members who have attended a Dementia Friends session, to become Dementia Champions, so that they too, can provide Dementia Friends sessions. This is a one-day session.Powerful Tools for Caregiving (PTC): Educational program designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a relative or a friend. Focus is on those caring for someone who is 55 years or older. Six weeks of 1.5 hour workshops. Offered both virtually, and in-person, depending upon the time of registration. Call to register for this workshop.Caregiver Training Workshop: This workshop is approximately 2 hours long. Must pre-register and the workshop is provided in-person. The training walks through a workbook that allows the participant (caregiver) to develop a plan of how to care for their care receiver if something should happen to them and they are no longer able to care for that older adult-either temporarily or definitively.Fraud and Scam Prevention Trainings: Provides presentations relating to fraud and scam prevention to the communities of service-upon request.?Programs are provided at a variety of locations, including Elder Network offices and others. Some programs are available virtually.
