Offers a structured sober living home for women transitioning out of or recently completing inpatient treatment. Residents work with a case manager to set goals, access community resources, build life skills, and prepare for independent living. The program provides a supportive, home-like environment with guidance and accountability.

Outreach project to connect with women who may have bleeding disorders. Raises awareness of women's bleeding disorders and helps direct those who have a bleeding disorder where to go for information and treatment. Increases awareness of Von Willebrand Disease (VWD).

Provides culturally appropriate pathways to homeownership for Somali women and their families, guiding women on how to utilize resources and tools for financial empowerment, and preparing them to make financial investments in a home. Services provided:- Create an action plan and steps to achieve goals- Develop a budget and savings plan- Encouragement and nonjudgmental support to build financial confidence- Homebuyer and financial education workshop- Individualized planning unique to the needs of each woman- One-on-one advice regarding credit reports and addressing credit problems

Workshop topics include, but are not limited to:- Assertive communication- Computer classes- Decision making and goal setting- Identifying interests, skills, values, and strengths- Job interview skills- Job seeking strategies- Personality and creativity- Resume and cover letter writing- Self-esteem- Stress management

Provides gynecology problem visits, birth control counseling and prescriptions, prenatal and postpartum care, and midwifery services.Breast and cervical cancer education, screening, and outreach through the SAGE Program. Services include health education, outreach, and case management related to breast and cervical cancer focused on reaching low-income women in the Latino community. Office visits, mammography, pap screenings, colposcopy, and other clinical services are offered.

Collective Thought ProjectThis program facilitates intentional dialogue with women and gender-expansive individuals in the community to better understand their needs and priorities. Through a combination of electronic surveys and community conversations, the initiative gathers insights that directly inform the development of responsive and inclusive programming.Advocacy and Equity Program?This program addresses the deep-rooted racial and gender inequities embedded in key social systems such as housing, education, employment, healthcare, child care, and community safety. Recognizing the disproportionate impact these systemic issues have on people of color, YWCA Duluth's Advocacy and Equity Program works to advance policy and funding solutions that promote racial justice and gender equity.Current advocacy efforts focus on equitable access to child care-calling for increased public investment to ensure all families can find care that meets their needs, while supporting providers with livable wages and sustainable business models. The program also connects community members with educational resources and advocacy opportunities through the YWCA's Advocacy Hub, empowering individuals to take action, fight racism, and support women's rights.
