Offers a confidential and anonymous peer support line for the entire military community to help address challenges before they escalate into a crisis, have questions about themselves, a friend, a loved one, or need to talk confidentially. Services include: - Connection to a peer who is a veteran or a member of the military community - Help finding resources and solutions - Individuals remain connected and engaged after initial contact, as long as it takes, until the issue is resolved - Provides active listening skills, understanding, and support NOTE: Not a crisis support line

Air Transportation for Wounded Warriors - Veterans Airlift Command - VAC

Provides air transportation to post 9/11 combat wounded and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes through a national network of volunteer aircraft owners and pilots. Passengers are transported to and from the medical facility for the benefit of the service member, not the passengers. Passenger eligibility requires the service member to be undergoing continuing medical care, either hospitalized or as an outpatient. Passengers must be family or a very close personal friend of the service member.

Veteran Crisis Response Team - Itasca County - Crisis Response Team - Itasca County

Provides crisis assessments, crisis interventions, and community based stabilization services for Veterans of Itasca County and the catchment area of Hill City. The VCRT responds by phone and in person, to Veterans and/or their spouses experiencing mental health emergencies at locations such as, but not limited to: private homes, community locations, and hospital/clinic settings.
