Child Protection Program - Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe
- Assessment Workers investigate child maltreatment reports and determine if there is a need to remove the child from the home due to unsafe conditions or if the household needs resources to prevent family disruption.
- Case Managers provide comprehensive services for the best interest of the child. Services may be offered to families who have had children placed out of the home with the ultimate goal of reunifying the family or to connect families with resources that will assist them in providing a safer environment for their children.
- The Family Support staff assists families with transportation to necessary appointments relating to their case plan, completing applications for essential resources, provide supervised visitations and other services that support families in strengthening their family structure.

Also plays an active role in monitoring the status of natural resources within the Ceded Territory. Other activities include research, habitat evaluation and restoration, and involvement with environmental issues.

Women's Health and Birth Center - Fairview Range Medical Center - Hibbing
Birthing center offers the following services,
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) services
- Education: Partnering with Fairview Mesaba Clinics and the Essentia Clinic-Hibbing, a variety of pregnancy, parenting, and infant care classes are available.
- Lactation Services: A Lactation Specialist works closely with a Lactation Educator from the Public Health Department and the local La Leche League. These services are provided free of charge.
- Maternal Child Care: Medical staff includes an obstetrician, pediatricians, and family practice physicians offering family-centered maternity care.
- Prenatal Tests, including:
Non-Stress Test: Non-invasive test performed using an external monitor.
Ultrasound: Uses sonic waves which are beamed through the mother's abdomen to the baby.
Amniocentesis: A Physician extracts a sample of amniotic fluid from inside the placental sac.
- Unexpected Deliveries: Baby born earlier than planned or with special health needs. Baby receives care in the Nursery. If the baby does require intensive medical care after birth, arrangements can be made quickly for transfer to a facility with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that assists pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children to eat well, learn about nutrition and stay healthy. Many working and low-income families are eligible for WIC benefits. The WIC Program provides:

- Referrals to health and social services
