Provides diagnostic evaluation and therapy services to children and adults with communication disorders. Services are provided by graduate and undergraduate students who are working toward a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology. Student clinicians and Graduate Interns are supervised by Faculty members of the Department of Speech, Hearing and Rehabilitation Services (SHRS). Provides a specialized communication therapy for children with autism; program teaches parents, caregivers, and educators specific techniques that will make learning to understand and use language more successful for each individual child. Services are provided both on and off campus. - Summer Speech-Language Clinic for 4 - 5 year old children - Minnesota State University Mankato Aphasia Group - Minnesota Stroke Association Adult Aphasia Group, Twin Cities - National Stuttering Association Group - Mankato Area Spasmodic Dysphonia Group: 90-minute meetings are held every two months at Minnesota State University, Mankato; functions of the group are support, education, and social opportunities.

A communication group program for adults who have had neurological damage and have a communication disorder (aphasia, apraxia)

- Provides a developmental program for children with disabilities birth to 6 years of age. This includes early childhood special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy and adaptive physical ed. This service also goes into homes of children with disabilities to provide educational services.
