Each year, the department trains its 45 volunteers in how to safely extract people from vehicles following a crash. This kind of training requires vehicles for crews to practice on. Individuals interested in donating a vehicle can receive a tax credit. The department provides a receipt for tax purposes and donated vehicles are transported for free.
