Disaster Assistance from FEMA - DisasterAssistance.gov

- Disaster news feeds, state emergency management agencies, and FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers(DRCs) information are also available - Offers a look-up tool for agencies and survivors to find community resources, assistance, and information on recently declared disasters. Users can search for police and fire stations, urgent cares, and hospitals by proximity to their location. - Provides an anonymous questionnaire that helps survivors quickly identify a personalized list of possible types of available assistance. "Find assistance" under the "Get assistance" tab. After receiving their personalized list, disaster survivors can apply for several forms of assistance and be directed to the appropriate federal agency for those forms of assistance that do not yet offer online assistance. - Survivors can now visit the website to download forms and fact sheets, as well as informational materials designed to help school children and their families learn about natural disasters and disaster assistance.
