- Yard waste/compost site: 800 Buffalo Ave S (1/4 mile south of the stoplights on east side of road inside the fenced area), available only to residents of Montrose. Yard waste includes acorns, apples, corn stocks, firewood (up to 2-inch diameter), garden vegetation, grass clippings, leaves, pine cones, pumpkins, shrubs, and tree branches.
