Substance Use Program - Kandiyohi County Public Health and Human Services
Direct Access allows an individual to go directly to a provider they choose to receive a comprehensive assessment and access care immediately. County services include:
- Providing assessments for individuals who have been court ordered to complete an assessment
- Providing assessments for individuals who are seeking treatment for chemical abuse or dependency, on a voluntary basis,. Must meet certain income guidelines or receive Medical Assistance (MA).
- Assisting with referral to a treatment provider and prior authorization for treatment services
