Donations must be collected and weighed by Catholic Charities staff to ensure food safety standards and inventory tracking. - Receipts are available. - Accepts the following new or gently used items for donations for Basic Everyday Essentials: - Accessories: scarves, hats, mittens, backpacks, small luggage - Baby items: clothing, blankets, crib sheets, bottles, bibs, baby food, and formula - Kitchen items: pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware - Men, women, and children's clothing; greatest need for adults who are tall and larger sizes - Shoes - Small kitchen appliances: toasters, blenders, mixers, coffee makers - Towels, washcloths, sheets, blankets, bed pillows - Accepts the following items for donations for the Food Shelf: - Feminine hygiene products - Fresh produce (including home-grown) - Laundry detergent - Non-perishable food items - Personal care items: deodorant, shaving lotion and razors, shampoo/conditioner, soap, and toothpaste Volunteer positions: - Emergency Services Food Shelf - Emergency Services Basic Everyday Essentials - Individual, group, and student opportunities and court-ordered community service - Senior dining/Meals on Wheels: deliver meals, prepare food, set up dining sites for meals, serve meals, clean up after meals and clerical tasks - Student interns
