Library Services - Rochester Public Library
Access to the following:
Current newspaper and magazine articles, custom book and media recommendations; internet access; library-led book clubs; recommendations for purchase; research help; and basic technology help
Reserve materials online for pickup in the library or bookmobile. Up to 30 holds per library card.
Loans of the following:
Books, DVD movies, CD music, book group in a bag kit, eBooks and eAudiobooks, eMagazines, video games, board games, materials from other libraries, and seeds (seasonal)
Provided programs including:
- Kids and Teens Program: Provides tours, storytimes, or other class visits for children, book lists for each grade level and favorite genre, and homework help
Rochester Reading Champions: Matches volunteers with underserved youth and adults who struggle to read and write
Use of the following:
Computers, copy, printing, scan, and fax machines; mobile printing and online resources
Rooms available for use by community organizations, businesses, and individuals. Rooms include 2nd floor meeting room, sound booth and 2-person study rooms.
View of the following:
- Events; library calendar; news; online resources by subject, age, or see an alphabetical list; and digital history archive for photos, yearbooks, records, and more

Provides human-narrated audiobooks and VOICE text books (highlights words as students read) to help support students with visual impairments, dyslexia, or learning disabilities. Also offers one-on-one consults with Parent Support Specialists.
