Offers youth and family programs, including the following:
- Active Family and Community Engagement: Engages family at school-based community events, which build bridges between school and home.
- Collaborative Leadership and Practices: Include professional learning communities, site-based teams charged with improving school policy and classroom teaching and learning, labor-management collaborations, and teacher development strategies such as peer assistance and review.
- Expanded and Enriched Learning Time and Opportunities: Collaborates with community partners to provide learning activities during out-of-school time and summer, using school facilities and other community spaces.
Programs vary depending on community priorities and include arts, physical activity, small group and individualized academic support, and hands-on learning activities.

- Moonlight Yoga: A unique yoga experience that occurs once a month from June through October to practice yoga in nature
- Nature Preschool: Six-week summer program for little adventurers to explore nature and get to know farm animals

Black urban farms designed to be both a gathering space and increase food access. Offers free produce pick up, gardening and food preparation classes, community events, skills-building workshops, and environmentally conscious workshops for community members of all ages.
Program includes weekly Conversations and Coffee (C&C), a cross generational gathering event focussed on relationship building and storytelling. Conversations and Coffee (C&C) brings in Black and BIPOC elders from the community to share stories with youth and adults about the history of people of color in Duluth.
Locations include: Freedom Farms Central Hillside and Lincoln Park Freedom Farms.
