Additionally, offers a SHAPE Fitness Center where participants have daily access to adaptive equipment, structured programs, and trained professionals to support health and wellness.

Participants may be working toward job-readiness in the community or adding to their existing skills. Provides job training, guidance, and wages for individuals working in job settings preparing them for competitive integrated employment and/or self-employment. Job training includes: - Assisting with the day-to-day operations at the facility (laundry, dishes, janitorial, etc.) - Chore crews (lawn mowing, snow shoveling, raking, processing recycling, etc.) - Smaller jobs for outside agencies (shredding, packaging, etc.) There are a variety of work projects to fit each individual's skill set and interests. Employment Support Services (ESS) are also offered, which are designed to help participants maintain community employment. Chore crew services are available for residents of the community, including: - Commercial Services - lawn care and snow removal - Gardening/Weeding - Lawn Mowing* - includes trimming - Raking - includes bagging and disposal - Snow Removal* *Reduced cost of snow removal and lawn care may be available for older adults

Situational Assessment - a short-term work experience designed to help individuals explore their vocational aptitudes and determine the types of support services that will be needed in the workplace. - Centered-based employment - Paid work at the main facility. Offers various jobs including donation processing, janitorial services, stocking, retail sales, office work, and shipping. Works with individuals in identifying a job within the facility that is well-matched to their skills and interests - Community based employment - Provides paid work in the community to individuals that need ongoing support to maintain their employment. These jobs are often on crews and may include janitorial, lawn-work, and snow removal - Supported employment - Provides employment with local community employers. Workers who are hired for community jobs continue to receive training and support from Goodwill Vocational Services team members, and are paid by the hiring company. Area employers may include Super One Foods, Olive Garden, Bernick's Pepsi, Minnesota Power, Grandma's Restaurant, TJ Maxx, Aerostich, Sain. Lukes, Duluth Grill, and WalMart.
