Youth Employment Services - Avivo

Offers employment services at no cost, including job and career training, as well as employment and placement opportunities for youth. These programs are for youth who have nowhere else to turn for help to find employment, complete their education, and who need support to move forward. Services include paid internships, tuition to train for a new career, help finishing school or getting a GED, help with job hunting, and transportation assistance (such as bus fare cards). Participants in Avivo's youth and young adult employment programs can also access short-term credentialed training options for higher-wage jobs, such as: - Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) - Forklift Operator, including Forklift Operators Certification - Culinary Arts and ServSafe certifications - Enrollment opportunities in credentialed training at Avivo Institute of Career and Technical Education
