Healthy Families Happy Homes - LakeWood Public Health
- Provides preventive and promotive counseling to families with primary focus on expectant mothers, postpartum mothers and infants
- A Public Health nurse will:
- Make prenatal visits to expectant mothers
- Visit new parents, babies, and children 0-3 yr.
- Visit with families of children with special needs
- Assist families in attaining government assistance programs like WIC

Program developers create a calendar of activities that provide social, physical, and mental benefits for all ages, levels of disability, and their families/caregivers.
The Inclusive Community Program also advocates for
- Accessibility rights
- Education assistance for students living with a disability
- Inclusive community areas

- Super Strikers bowling league
The program builds bridges, allowing those living with a disability access to activities and events they would not normally have.
Program developers create a calendar of activities that provide social, physical, and mental benefits for all ages, levels of disability, and their families/caregivers.
