Provide assistance, investigate, and/or intervene on behalf of vulnerable adults who are unable to act on their own behalf, manage their own affairs, or who are in immediate danger due to physical or emotional abuse, unsafe or hazardous living conditions, exploitation, neglect or abandonment. Services may include: - Accept reports of abuse - Authorization for medical treatment - Consultation to individuals who suspect abuse - Removal of the individual to safer surroundings - Services necessary to remove the conditions which have created a threat to life NOTE: Complaints, questions, or concerns involving incidents in facilities licensed by the Health Department; such as, hospitals, nursing homes, boarding care homes, supervised living facilities, assisted living and home health agencies can be referred to the MN Office of Health Facility Complaints at 651-201-4201 or toll-free at 800-369-7994.

Provides the following services: - Community education on environmental issues such as recycling, solid waste, and solid waste reduction- Disposal information for household items such as appliances, batteries, electronic waste, and more. - Hazardous waste information- Management of county campgrounds, fairgrounds, lakes, parks, and trails- Recycling collection

Provides families with the resources and guidance they need to thrive. Whether they are a new parent navigating the challenges of a preschooler, or seeking help raising their grandkids, the resource center can help with information, connections, and support.

Provides emergency food boxes to anyone in need. May visit the food shelf one time per week, as the food shelf is meant to be supplemental to the individuals' food needs. Accepts non-perishable food donations anytime in the storage benches in front of the building. Perishables may be dropped off during open hours. For large quantities, call to arrange delivery. Also accepts donations of clothing, household items, and entertainment, with proceeds from Thrift on Front supporting the Food Pantry. Helps older adolescents who "age out" of out-of-home placement prepare for the transition to independent living. Group meets twice a month during the school year and weekly in the summer. Case management services include assisting the family in obtaining a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, developing a functional assessment, developing an individual family community support plan, and assisting the child and the child's family in obtaining needed services by coordination with other agencies and assuring continuity of care.
