Failure to meet work rules will result in their MFIP grants being sanctioned or reduced. In addition:- Child support will be pursued in those situations where one or both parents are absent.- A woman expecting a baby may receive assistance for herself during her pregnancy- Children who are being cared for by certain relatives may receive assistanceNOTE: MFIP recipients may be eligible for Emergency Assistance, Child Care Assistance, Medical Assistance, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
