Children's mental health services are voluntary and include: - Assisting families in navigating mental health services, including hospitalization and residential placements - Conducts initial and ongoing comprehensive diagnostic assessments of need to create driven case plans - Engaging families in supports and services to appropriately address the child's needs - Identifying children with needs at the earliest possible time - Information and referral to services including: - Children's therapeutic services - Respite services - Parenting supports/services - Awareness/education opportunities - Providing case management services which includes visits with families and children within their home, community, or school settings on at least a monthly basis to address needs

Provides Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) services and is accessible to individuals who are facing a housing crisis, are homeless, or are at risk of imminent homelessness. Services include:- Prevention Services: Temporary financial assistance and/or supportive services to help people remain in their current housing situation, relocate, or divert them from entering the homeless system. Financial assistance is provided for rental assistance, mortgage assistance, and utility payment assistance.- Street Outreach: Link individuals who are homeless to available resources such as shelter, housing, and/or critical health and supportive services- Rapid-Rehousing: Assist households to quickly exit homelessness and return to permanent housing. Licensing of home health nursing services, home health aides, and home management providers, including individual paraprofessionals.The department keeps details of surveys of nursing quality for the last three years available in order to assist consumers in deciding which nursing home is the best placement. The surveys evaluate the quality of care and services provided, as well as the appropriateness of the facility's building, equipment, staffing, policies, procedures, and finances.Nursing Home Report Card: Online information on nursing homes. Every nursing home in the state has been given up to five stars in each of eight quality measures, including inspections, and quality of care and a quality-of-life survey among more than one-third of all residents. Enter a ZIP code and a range of miles, then select three priorities from the eight quality measures, a list of the homes ranked by those criteria appear. When clicking on the name of a nursing home, it will show the number of stars for each quality measure and the state average.

Minnesota's Medicaid program for people with low income. Most people who have MA receive health care through health plans. Members who do not receive health care through a health plan receive care on a fee-for-service basis, with providers billing the state directly for services they provide.MA pays for a variety of services like doctor visits, prescriptions, and hospital stays. Medicare Savings Programs have four sub-programs:Qualified Disabled and Working Individuals (QDWI): Helps pay for Part A premiums only.Qualifying Individual (QI): Helps pay for Part B premiums only.Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB): Helps pay for Part A and B premiums as well as deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments.Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB): Helps pay for Part B premiums only.? Monthly income and countable resource limits apply. Countable resources include any checking or savings funds, stocks, and bonds. A home, one car, a burial plot, $1500 in burial expenses (if the amount is set aside), furniture, and other household items are not applied toward the resource limit. Participants pay for Medicare services that aren't covered, such as routine physicals and prescription drugs.??Generally, under these programs, premiums are put back into the monthly Social Security check, increasing participants' monthly income.

Provides merchandise at thrift store prices. Assistance with the cost of purchases is available through case management staff. Volunteer opportunities are also available.

BI-CAP owns and/or manages scattered-site transitional housing units in Beltrami and Cass Counties. Transitional housing is interim shelter between homelessness and permanent housing. BI-CAP's Transitional Housing Program is limited to families with children. Supportive Housing Specialists and families work together to overcome barriers, develop skills, and create a permanent housing plan.- Interim shelter between homelessness and permanent housing- Tenancy is 24 months maximum ?- Counselor works with families to develop a permanent housing plan
