Cash-grant program for families with low incomes experiencing household emergencies. Families can receive assistance once every 12 months. The assistance received must resolve the crisis. Families must use their own money first. The amount of financial assistance provided depends on family size and the type of emergency. The amount of assistance provided might not cover the entire emergency, but it can help. - Helps families experiencing a financial crisis and may provide financial assistance for up to two months of rent, one month with a deposit, or utilities (electric, gas, and heating service payment assistance). Families must apply for Fuel Assistance during the heating season.- Applicant must have spent at least 30% of their available income on housing and utilities in the past 90 days- Applicant's name must be on the lease or utility bill?- Financial assistance is paid directly to the vendor?- Does not provide financial assistance for late fees

Provides psychiatry and medical services to work with clients. Services include:- Medication-Assisted Treatment: A combination of medication and therapy to help individuals in their recovery process toward long-term abstinence- Medication Management: Licensed psychiatrists and nurse practitioners assist clients with monitoring and regulating their medications to ensure medications are appropriately prescribed and achieve their intended therapeutic outcome- Psychiatric Evaluation: A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is provided to understand and diagnose mental illnesses for both children and adults. Care coordination is also provided to support and guide clients in all aspects of their health and well-being.

Offers person-centered support services to individuals living with a disability or mental health condition. Services provided:- Case management to assess gaps in services to develop a goal plan to resolve the individual's housing crisis and prevent them from becoming homeless- Develop life skills including self-sufficiency planning, establish independence, and housing skills- Help individuals secure and maintain stable housing. Services include house searching, application assistance, budgeting, landlord communication, and ongoing stability planning.- Meeting with staff for information about housing resources for rapid re-housing, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, and eligibility. Provides referrals and resources to programs as needed.

Accepts and responds to and/or investigates reports of child abuse, neglect, or abandonment.Services may include:- Accepting reports of abuse- Assessment of the initial referral- Consultation to individuals who suspect abuse- Consultation with the family to determine the nature of the problem- Dependency investigation- Ongoing support services for children and their families- Temporary placement of children who are removed from the home- Works with the family toward unification or reunificationNOTE: In addition to taking reports, child protection screeners are available to explain the reporting statutes, answer questions regarding agency practices and discuss other resources and strategies when reports do not meet criteria for assignment for child protection investigation.

Drug and alcohol free transitional housing in a Christian environment providing:- 3 Meals a day provided- Assistance in finding part-time or full-time work. Residents keep all of their income, but are encouraged to save a portion.- A nurse is provided to meet with residents weekly for medical and medication needs- Bed, sheets, dressers, and large storage containers provided- Chemical dependency treatment groups and one-on-one counseling- Life skills groups- Professional staff supervision, mentors, and groups- Residents stay up to six months- Shared space including living room, kitchen, bathrooms, showers- Shared room- TV, phone, Internet, laundry included- On bus line and within walking distance of shopping needed?- Occasional transportation as necessary?

In-person and telehealth mental health therapy programs offering comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing emotional, psychological, or behavioral challenges. Provides individual, group, family, and couple services.

The program offers accessible modification assistance, ramp installation, and accessibility assessments for homes and businesses for safe access and increased independence in people's homes and businesses. Services include:- Expert evaluation via an on-site survey of home/property- Home modification planning- Information and referral for potential funding sources and loan programs- Home modifications such as ramps, grab bars, roll-in showers, widened doorways, and handrails. May also provide temporary portable ramps for consumers who need them for a limited time.

Direct Access allows an individual to go directly to a provider they choose to receive a comprehensive assessment and access care immediately. The county will assess individuals who need help paying for a chemical use assessment or treatment services through the Behavioral Health Fund. Services also include:- Designated staff that provide chemical dependency assessments- Referral to local community service providers for chemical assessments or treatment services. Also, directs individuals to visit www.fasttrackermn.org for additional resources.- When legal intervention is required, staff can assist with mental health and chemical dependency commitments

Youth Support: Provides a free quarterly grief support series and two free annual bereavement camps, Camp Erin-Twin Cities and Camp Journey for youth and their families who have experienced the death of a loved one. Offers virtual and in-person grief support groups, access to free short-term grief counseling, and family-friendly events that provide a connection to others who have experienced a similar loss. Also provides free support and services for children who are anticipating the death of a parent, sibling, or close family member. Young Adult Support: Provides opportunities to connect with others in the 18 - 26 year old age group through weekend retreats, social events, monthly support groups, grief counseling, and young adult grief support groups.

Energy Cents Coalition administers two affordability programs:- Xcel Energy's customers may be eligible for the Power ON Program for electricity bills and Gas Affordability Program for gas bills- Greater Minnesota Gas customers may be eligible for Gas Affordability Program for gas billsBoth Power ON and the Gas Affordability Program:- Require the customer to make a monthly payment on their bill. The programs are designed to make utility bills more affordable, to encourage customers to make consistent payments, and to lower the costs associated with the utility's attempts to collect payments from customers with limited resources- In exchange for a monthly payment, the programs provide the customer with a discount so that a fixed percentage of income goes to the utility bill, discount is based on usage and income- Puts the customer on a leveled payment- Individuals can call or visit website to find if applications are currently being accepted
