Head Start Head Start is a center-based preschool program for children 3-5 years old. Program includes:- Education: School readiness goals in the areas of language, literacy, math, science, health, and social-emotional skills?- Family goal-setting??- Health and safety??- Nutrition?- Social and emotional health??- Social services??- Screenings and follow-up for health, development, and behavior??- Services for children with disabilities??- Transition servicesEarly Head Start ?The program includes weekly home visits with parents and their child(ren), teaching and partnering with them in the areas of child development, health, mental health, family health, and development and family resources. Provides specialized care and treatment programs for children and adolescents with eating disorders. A team of medical professionals collaborates closely with clients and their families to create a personalized treatment plan based on the client's needs. - Family based therapy (FBT): Involves the family in the treatment process, empowering parents to support their child's recovery; includes implementation of family meals, participation in family therapy, and engagement in various supportive activities. - Family learning day: Offers families educational sessions about eating disorders and supporting their loved ones. Families will work alongside other families to build relationships and community support. Meals and snacks are included in the sessions by specialized staff. - Family learning series: Offers 2 hour weekly group sessions for adults and siblings 12 years and older, led by licensed therapists offering educational resources including managing anxiety, developing routines, improving communications, strengthening relationships, and more for families and their children. Dinner is included along with support and guidance from specialized staff.

Offers a community-based mental health service designed to assist individuals in managing their mental health conditions and achieving greater independence in daily living. The program focuses on providing support in various areas to promote recovery and enhance quality of life. Services included:- Daily Living Skills: Support in developing coping mechanisms, budgeting, cooking, nutrition, and household management.- Employment Support: Guidance in job applications, job seeking, and maintaining employment.- Healthcare and Benefits: Help in accessing and maintaining healthcare services and other benefits.- Home Visits and Wellness Checks: Regular visits to assess and support clients in their living environments.- Housing Support: Assistance in securing and maintaining stable housing.- Relapse Prevention: Education and strategies to prevent relapse and promote recovery.- Social Support: Encouragement of social interactions through support groups and community activities.

Works with adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness residing across Hennepin County communities. To increase overall stability, improve health and wellness, and support the member's ability to remain in the community, the team assesses the individual's goals and then provides or coordinates services to support folks in moving toward those goals. Some of the services provided include:- Accessing resources to find safe and affordable housing, and support in maintaining their housing.- Assisting with job applications, finding and maintaining employment, and moving toward or maintaining financial stability. - Community activities that give individuals the opportunity to enjoy public outings and build stronger connections to the community.- Fostering a community drop-in space that strives to ensure all individuals can feel safe, welcome, and valued, and can access mental health support from peers and counselors.- Helps foster social support, prevent isolation, and promote recovery.- Obtaining and maintaining health insurance benefits.- Providing mental health crisis support and resource connection.- Providing training/education about mental illness, treatment, recovery, and independent living skills.
