Starting with an individual evaluation to see what services are needed, EmPower CTC helps participants with 24-week group sessions or individual sessions as needed. Other features include progress reports, dual disorder special programming, extended programming as needed and continued aftercare. - Individual Assessments: Mental health and chemical health. Recommendations are provided and may include treatment either through EmPower CTC or another facility clinically appropriate for the individual. If the recommendation is for inpatient, EmPower CTC can assist with that process with facilities throughout Minnesota. - Individual Therapy: For addictive behaviors, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder-ADHD, anxiety, concentration and decision making, depression, impulse control, low self-esteem, obsessive behaviors, PTSD, relationship issues, trauma-induced disorders, veteran adjustment issues and more - Primary Chemical Dependency Outpatient: 90 hours (29 group sessions and 3 individual sessions in 10 weeks): 3 days - Relapse Prevention: 90 hours (36 mixed-gender group sessions plus 18 individual sessions in 18 weeks): 2 nights per week

  • Provides case management services and helps individuals and families develop goal plans directed toward increasing earned income and enabling them to become or remain free from welfare assistance. When a participant's rent goes up due to an increase in their earned income, part of that rent increase is set aside in an escrow savings account. Upon successful completion of the contract, participants receive the entire escrow balance plus accrued interest. - People receiving Section 8 housing can enroll immediately in the program and Low Rent Public Housing clients may need to go on a waiting list for the next available opening.
  • Provides crisis mental health services to consumers 24 hours 365 days a year- Services include talking with a Mental Health Practitioner over the phone, mobile (in-person) crisis intervention, follow up counseling and referral to resources, and crisis stabilization.- Requests for intervention can be made by family/friends/community members and community agencies, if the client agrees to meet with CRT.- Assists with problem resolution and coordination of increasing mental health services for individuals for whom this would be helpful.- Trained persons are available to the police and emergency wards to provide assessments of mental health emergencies, to develop an intervention plan, and arrange for any needed services identified in the plan.
