Parents who do not receive public assistance can apply for services at their county child support office for a one-time $25 service fee. Parents who receive public assistance for a child whose other parent does not live with them are automatically referred for services and are not charged a service fee.

Bone Builder and other exercises for older adults at community sites

Permanent Supportive Housing serves homeless individuals with a documented disability. Participants receive a rental subsidy and accompanying support services. PSH is offered in both Beltrami and Cass Counties.

Olmsted County Falls Prevention Coalition offers a complete home safety visit to assess fall risks in the home. Trained volunteers schedule a time to meet with individuals in their home to complete a safety visit. They provide individuals with recommendations and resources to increase safety, reduce falls, and extend independent living.

Gathers information and provides referral services to individuals who feel they have experienced discrimination within the City of Virginia to promote a community standard of equal opportunity and freedom from discrimination.

Offers a consumer resource center for adults who struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health disorders. Members socialize, make friends, work to overcome loneliness and isolation, and participate in activities and community events in a safe, comfortable, and open-minded environment. Transportation may be available.

The Office of the Foster Youth Ombudsperson handles complaints from anyone, prioritizing concerns about young people's rights, care, safety, and placement in Minnesota foster care, including youth in Extended Foster Care and those who have recently aged out of care. Services may include:- Communicate what happens after a complaint is submitted- Consider all sides of a question in an impartial way- Follow requirements for confidentiality and data privacy- Help to answer questions about rights in foster care- Investigate complaints in a fair and neutral manner- Listen to people in foster care about concerns and complaints- Make recommendations to agencies and workers- Provide information and resources- Write reports to the governor, legislature, and the public
