Adults who are blind, have a disability, or are age 65 and older but don't qualify for SSI because of their income may still be eligible for MSA if they meet income requirements.The basic monthly MSA grant is calculated using either the maximum SSI amount (Federal Benefit Rate) for the adult or their countable income (if they do not receive SSI), and the MSA standard set by state law.Special Needs GrantMSA also may provide special payments for adults who need:- Certain home repairs- Certain household furniture and appliances- Guardian or conservator service fees- Help paying for housing costs through MSA Housing Assistance- Medically prescribed special diets- Representative payee servicesAdults who receive MSA are also eligible for help with medical, food, and housing costs through Medical Assistance - MA, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - SNAP, and MSA Housing Assistance programs.

A nine-bed adult residential crisis stabilization unit that provides a short-term safe place for individuals to stay while working through a mental health crisis. The unit is staffed 24 hours/7 days a week and offers counseling and education to clients in managing their mental health symptoms. All admissions are voluntary and based on bed availability.

Birthing center offers the following services,- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) services- Education: Partnering with Fairview Mesaba Clinics and the Essentia Clinic-Hibbing, a variety of pregnancy, parenting, and infant care classes are available.- Lactation Services: A Lactation Specialist works closely with a Lactation Educator from the Public Health Department and the local La Leche League. These services are provided free of charge.- Maternal Child Care: Medical staff includes an obstetrician, pediatricians, and family practice physicians offering family-centered maternity care.- Prenatal Tests, including: Non-Stress Test: Non-invasive test performed using an external monitor.Ultrasound: Uses sonic waves which are beamed through the mother's abdomen to the baby.Amniocentesis: A Physician extracts a sample of amniotic fluid from inside the placental sac.- Unexpected Deliveries: Baby born earlier than planned or with special health needs. Baby receives care in the Nursery. If the baby does require intensive medical care after birth, arrangements can be made quickly for transfer to a facility with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
