Career Pathways: Provides youth ages 14 - 24 who have faced systemic barriers to employment the opportunity to be introduced into the workforce by getting an internship at the YMCA. Beacons: Provides after-school and summer care for young people in grades K - 12 by partnering with Twin Cities area schools to provide quality educational, recreational, and leadership development activities and eliminate barriers to participation.Center for Youth Voice: Provides programs and services that help young people understand our system of government and how to effectively use their voice to take action on issues that matter to them.Teen Tech Center: Provides a technology-driven, interactive space for young people ages 12 - 24 to drop in, be creative, and develop new skills for free. Does not require a YMCA membership. Must be a member of the Teen Tech Center.

Provides assistance and support to veterans and their dependents in obtaining benefits through state and federal programs including:- Burial and death benefits- Dental and medical care- Education and training- Home loan guarantees- Pension- State Subsistence: Financial assistance for basic dental and optical care, mortgage, personal needs, rent and utilities for veterans who cannot work due to temporary disability.

The Child Support Division assists with:- Locating parents- Establishing parentage- Establishing and enforcing court orders for child support, medical support, and child care support- Reviewing and modifying court orders for support- Adjusting court orders based on the cost-of-living index- Works with other states to enforce support when one parent does not live in Minnesota- Collecting and processing paymentsMinnesota Child Support Online: an interactive website developed by the State of Minnesota to provide child support participants with information about their case(s).NOTE: Either parent of a child may get certain child support services. Parents who do not receive public assistance can apply for services at their county child support office for a one-time $25 service fee. Parents who receive public assistance for a child whose other parent does not live with them are automatically referred for services and are not charged a service fee.

Offers a full range of coordinated mental health services to promote the well-being and functioning of individuals and families on the Fond Du Lac reservation. Members of a different federally recognized tribe may also receive services based on program eligibility. Services provided are:- Adult rehabilitative mental health services (ARMHS)- Counseling for mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. There are strict income and asset requirements.- Survivors and dependents' education- Transportation to the VA Medical Center- Veteran/military health insurance- Veteran survivor insurance

Assistance paying child care costs for children up to age 12 and for children with special needs up to age 14. Child care costs may be paid for families while parents work, look for work, or attend school.Family size, family income, and participation in authorized activities are considerations in determining eligibility for and amount of assistance, along with available funding.

Provides help to at-risk families to avoid future incidents of child maltreatment and to enhance child and family well-being, including:- Comprehensive assessments, early intervention, outreach, and supportive and therapeutic services?- Connect families with county and community-based services?- Limited financial assistance for families to meet basic needs

Serves as the principal agency of the state to advocate on behalf of Minnesotans who are deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing by working to ensure those persons have equal access to the services, programs, and opportunities available to others.The Commission addresses barriers to communication access through public policy and legislation. Advises the governor, the legislature, the judicial branch, and the commissioners of all state agencies to ensure their policies and practices are equitable to Minnesotans who are deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing.Note: Does not provide direct services

Offers a 24-hour skilled nursing facility. Services include nursing care and therapeutic rehabilitation.

Provides assisted living services at Auburn Courts and Auburn Meadows in private home-like style apartments. Services include:- Amenities such as elevators, a wellness center, a celebration center, a movie theater, off-street parking, and coin-operated laundry facilities on each floor- Care attendant on site 24 hours/7 days a week and a registered nurse available during business hours- Daily reassurance checks- Personal emergency call system- Transportation to nearby destinations- Light weekly housekeeping and meals- Incontinence care- Medication management

Provides an Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) program which integrates mental health, medical, and substance use care in a 24-hour, supervised setting. Provides a high level of treatment and assistance in a structured environment. The Arbor House is a 13-bed residence at two locations for individuals who identify as female and need treatment to recover from the acute symptoms of mental illness. Stays at the program are limited to 90 days. Treatment services include Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), skills groups, chemical health (IDDT) services, Seeking Safety (a trauma-based curriculum), Wellness Recovery, and Action Plan (WRAP) and individual supportive counseling.

Provides an urgent care center. Treats common conditions such as:- Acute injury evaluation- Broken bones- Cough/cold- Dislocations, sprains, and strains- Ear pain- Fever- Lacerations- Pink eye- Rash- Sinus pain/pressure- Sore throat- Urinary symptoms- Vomiting/diarrhea- Vaginal infections

Minnesota's version of TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), called MFIP (Minnesota Family Investment Program) helps families work their way out of poverty by providing temporary cash and food benefits to eligible families. Statewide MFIP has a 60 month time limit, and there are some limited exceptions and extensions to the time limit. Participants are required to follow certain work rules. Failure to meet work rules will result in an MFIP grant being sanctioned, reduced, or eliminated. In addition:- Child support will be pursued in those situations where one or both parents are absent- A woman expecting a baby may receive assistance for herself during her pregnancy- Children who are being cared for by certain relatives may receive assistanceNOTE: MFIP recipients may be eligible for Emergency Assistance, Child Care Assistance, Medical Assistance and/or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Provides legal advice, advocacy and representation for Consumer Law issues related to debt garnishment, predatory and unfair lending practices and collections, mortgage and foreclosure issues, predatory home loans, reverse mortgages, Contract for Deed problems and Property Tax Forfeitures.

Peer counseling services are offered individually and in group settings and connect individuals with disabilities to a peer mentor. Peer mentors serve as role models and provide independent living guidance though services including:- Community integration- Educational and advocacy resources- Establish goals to increase independence- Recreation programs
