- Foster Grandparents tutor and mentor children and youth in their communities who need special attention and encouragement- The positive role model and stable influence that Foster Grandparent volunteers provide helps these kids develop healthy attitudes and choices as they become teenagers and adults To be a Foster Grandparent: - Be 55 years or older and in good health- Be willing to commit at least 15 - 20 hours each week to establish solid and reliable relationships with those you serve- They receive a small tax free stipend, reimbursement for transportation and other benefits- Service sites Bi-County CAP Head Start (Site 1), Pillager Public Schools, Pillager Family Resource Center
