Eligibility

Reading or math ability at or below 12th grade level as determined by testing, must be 17 or older and not enrolled in a public school, students ages 17 or 18 will have to get a waiver to take the GED test

Hiawatha Valley Adult Education

Provides services to people 17 and older who are not enrolled in high school. Classes offered are Graduation Equivalent Diploma (GED) preparation, adult diploma, basic reading and math, computer literacy, and English Language Learner (ELL) instruction.

Career pathway programs, transition to college, and career readiness services are also available.
