Eligibility

- Residents of Hennepin County who are low income - Residents of Anoka County who are low-income and age 60 and older - Eligibility is determined by the applicant's financial status, type of legal service desired, urgency, and whether a lawyer in private practice would take the case on a contingent fee basis

Provides legal advice, advocacy and representation for Consumer Law issues related to debt garnishment, predatory and unfair lending practices and collections, mortgage and foreclosure issues, predatory home loans, reverse mortgages, Contract for Deed problems and Property Tax Forfeitures.
