Admission Criteria:- Experiencing a mental health crisis- Minnesota resident- Between ages 18 and 65- Medically stable- No imminent danger to self or others- No substantial alcohol/chemical impairment- Comply with a medical screening- Bring a two-week supply of prescription medications in bottles

Community-based program assisting adults experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency. The program offers short-term crisis stabilization of up to 10 days, with individualized services that meet the unique needs of those being served.The program is staffed around the clock by highly-trained mental health practitioners and skilled nursing staff. Each resident has a private room.The program utilizes evidence-based, recovery-oriented services, including:- A crisis response action plan if a crisis should occur- Assessments and treatment planning for immediate needs- Assistance to access and store medication- Referrals to other service providers in the community as needed and to support the member's transition from RCS- Supportive counseling and skills planning for immediate needsIntensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) provides stays less than 90 days by referral. IRTS Services Include:- Assessment and services for co-occurring substance abuse and disorders- Assistance with transition to community-based services and housing- Crisis assistance, development of health care directive and crisis prevention plans- Family education opportunities- Illness management and recovery skills- Individualized assessment and treatment planning- Living Skills Development- Nursing services including medication education?
