Description

Provides weekly bilingual school-based, after school programming and cultural support groups at area elementary schools throughout the school year, and a summer camp, for Latino children, to assist them in developing their assets, and positive attitudes and behaviors in the areas of self, family, and community. ?- Build self-esteem - Establish nurturing relationships with program staff, parents, volunteers, and teachers - Explore cultural heritage - Maintain or improve Spanish language skills - Positive conflict resolution and peacemaking support groups - Violence prevention and intervention support groups
