Open to all individual alleging discrimination or disparate treatment as defined by the Saint Paul Human Rights Ordinance Section 183 which has occurred within the city limits of St. Paul within one year

- Call; email; visit website; walk in; write - Investigator interviews charging party by phone or in person to determine whether he/she has a legitimate basis to file a charge and whether it is within the jurisdiction of the Saint Paul Human Rights Division; if so, a written, signed and notarized statement is taken from the charging party.

Investigate and make findings on complaints of discrimination in the areas of employment, education, real property, public accommodations, and public service because of sex, race, creed, religion, color, sexual or affectional orientation, gender identity, national origin or ancestry, familial status, age, disability, marital status, and status with regard to public assistance.
