The one-time grant assistance may help individuals in a financial crisis because of fire, flood, storm, illness, accident, theft, utility shut off (electric, gas, heating fuel, water service payment assistance), eviction, foreclosure, moving expense and/or deposit, necessary home repairs, or need for furniture or appliance replacement or repair.
