Advocates of the Bemidji Area works with survivors of trauma and individuals who are experiencing anxiety and/or depression. They provide a nonjudgmental and safe space. Develop a plan to improve mental health and then meet regularly. EMDR in person or use a telehealth format (online or on the phone) for counseling/ mental health therapy. The regular hourly rate is $175. We offer a sliding fee scale so that your payment is based on your income.

Advocates of the Bemidji Area
Advocates of the Bemidji Area provides mental health counseling for high school-aged students and adults. We provide therapy that helps clients address trauma, anxiety, and depression symptoms. They also provide advocacy services for people experiencing violence or abuse. Advocacy services are provided free of charge and include supportive listening, referrals, and court accompaniment (when staff is available).
