Eligibility

Residents of Anoka County who are pregnant, breast feeding and postpartum women, infants, and children up to the age of 5 with an income level less than or equal to 185% of the poverty level or eligible for Medical Assistance, SNAP or MFIP, and a documented nutritional risk

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that assists pregnant individuals, new mothers, infants, and young children to eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy. Many working and low-income families are eligible for WIC's benefits. The WIC Program provides:- Breastfeeding advice and support- Nutrition assessment and feeding tips- Referrals to health and social services- Vouchers for healthy foods (for example, milk, fresh fruits, vegetables and eggs)
