The Commodity Supplemental Food Program is a USDA program administered by the Minnesota Department of Health. Participants receive a monthly food package with American cheese, canned fruits and vegetables, juices, milk, canned meat, cereal, rice or pasta, and plant-based proteins like peanut butter or beans. The package also includes a newsletter with healthy eating and other educational information. Distribution sites and schedules are available around the region, including food shelves, senior centers and senior apartment buildings.

Agency serves people experiencing hunger in 14 counties in southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin through a network of more than 125 food shelves, pantries and programs.
Agency is a partner food bank of Feeding America, a national network of 200 food banks from across the country providing food assistance. This allows the agency access to millions of pounds of surplus food and grocery donations that they safely and efficiently collect, store, and distribute to those in need.
