Provides comprehensive hospice care for patients with life-limiting illnesses, typically with a prognosis of six months or less, focusing on comfort, quality of life, and support for the patient and family. - 24/7 phone consultation with nursing staff - Bereavement support for family members for up to 13 months - Coverage of medications, medical supplies, and equipment related to the hospice illness - Hospice aides to assist with bathing and personal care - Regular visits from registered nurses specializing in pain and symptom management - Social workers provide counseling and other support services - Trained hospice volunteers and respite support for caregivers - Therapy services (physical, occupational, speech, music, massage) per the hospice care plan - Visits from spiritual care providers, respecting each family's faith and beliefs
