8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday

Application process

  • Call; visit website; walk in- Drop boxes available for rural residents in Clara City, Maynard, Milan and Montevideo to drop off items for recycling; other residents receive curbside recycling at their homes

Residents can recycle the following items:- Cardboard: Hard and soft-covered books and phone books- Glass: Containers, bottles, and jars (green, brown, and clear)- Paper: Magazines, catalogs, newspapers, white/colored paper, construction paper, and corrugated cardboard- Plastics: Containers with necks and recycling symbols with the following numbers: 1, 2, 5, or 7- Tin/Aluminum: Tin food cans and aluminum beverage cans
