Individuals with a disability or older adults age 62 or older who meet the following: - Are a homeowner in Douglas County and live in the home full time (rental properties are not eligible) - Have lived in the home for at least 1 year - Have home owners insurance - Income falls below 80% of the median income for Douglas County

Safety improvements may include: - Easy-to-use cabinet pulls ?- Grab bars ?- Interior or exterior door adjustments, no-step door thresholds ?- Lever-style door handles and faucets ?- Ramps - Railings in halls and stairs - Widening doorways - Weatherization enhancements
