Administers federally funded rental assistance programs for all of Blue Earth County through the following programs:- Housing Choice Voucher- Housing Stability Voucher- Mainstream Voucher- Emergency Housing Voucher- Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing- Project-Based Voucher- Family Unification Voucher ProgramsParticipants receive a voucher that can be used to rent a unit in the private rental market. Program participants pay about 30% of their income toward their rent and utilities. Before assistance is paid, the unit is inspected to ensure it is safe, decent, and sanitary.
