Description

Partners with fifteen food distribution locations across the metro area, providing a culturally-appropriate food shelf with a focus on the East African community. The food shelf program offers: - Food items such as rice, pasta, canned goods, cooking oil, fresh produce, and other culturally relevant items - Halal dietary standards - Clients can access the food shelf as needed. Does not accept food donations at this time. Volunteer opportunity positions are available to help with organizing, inspecting, distributing food, and assisting with cleaning the facility.
