Youth who are at risk and with low income and their families, primarily Cambodian and Karen youth, who are residents of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties

Description

- Future Bound Youth: Works with youth ages 6 - 18 during and after school with tutoring, intergenerational communication, promotion of good decision making, health wellness, and cultural lessons - Youth Intervention Project: Aimed at high-risk youth to provide general assistance, improve intergenerational understanding, build social skills, and reduce gang violence - Mentoring Program: Matches volunteers/mentors from University of Minnesota's Cambodian Student Association with youth, focusing on building leadership skills, improving school performance, and promoting higher education
