Hospice services are a Medicare Benefit. For those that need the services of a hospice facility, Our House has a daily per diem rate not covered by Medicare but may be covered by insurance, Alternative Care Waiver (AC), or Elderly Waiver (ED).

Description
Offers an inpatient hospice cottage that provides patient assistance 24 hours a day under the consultation of a Registered Nurse. Services include: - Bereavement care for one year after the patient's death - Guest bedroom for family or loved ones to stay during those last days - Information and assistance in coordinating community services - Meals, snacks, laundry, personal care, medications, etc. are provided to all patients - Teaches health care methods to the family - Volunteers provide support, visit with family and patients, assist with household chores, run errands, and provide transportation and other services.
